The Good Food Program aims to increase access to
healthy food in our community.
Good Food Program
We facilitate a garden space via two greenhouses at Pathways Park in Killaloe as well as a dedicated community garden space behind the Killaloe Friendship Club.
Produce that is grown is distributed to our community through our Cooking with Friends program and via the Killaloe Food Bank.
When we are cooking and eating together, we aim to build food literacy, share skills and reduce social isolation. People are introduced to a variety of locally grown produce and feel confident to cook and try something new. Increasing access to healthy food is a part of our vision.
